Steven Skolsky has served as the founding principal of Expis-Partners since 2010. A strategic consulting firm to the biotech, pharmaceutical, life science and clinical services sectors, Expis-Partners has focused expertise in commercialization, marketing strategy, drug development, operations, strategic planning and business development.
Mr. Skolsky served as a senior executive at Quintiles Transnational Holdings (now IQVIA) from 2011 to 2016, most recently as Senior Vice president and managing director and formerly, head of global clinical operations. From 2007 to 2011, Mr. Skolsky served as the president and CEO of Sequoia Pharmaceuticals Inc. and from 2004 to 2006 as CEO of Trimeris Inc. Mr. Skolsky joined Trimeris from GlaxoSmithKline, where he had served for more than 20 years in a range of senior leadership roles, including senior vice president, head of global clinical development and commercial strategy, and managing director of GlaxoSmithKline’s operations in Australia and New Zealand.
Mr. Skolsky serves on the board of Novan, Inc. and of Elligo Health Research. He is also on the Foundation Board of the Kenan-Flagler School of Business, the Board of Visitors at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Previously, he served on the Boards of Clinipace Clinical Research and Adherex Technologies (now Fennec Pharmaceuticals).
Mr. Skolsky holds a B.A. in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
